Every module timed, like test day

Pathiva’s practice test screen during a Math module, with the timer, the question and its answer choices
  • The real format

Reading and Writing, then Math, each split into two timed modules: 98 questions in 134 minutes, the length and pacing of the Digital SAT.

  • A Bluebook-style screen

The same kind of interface you will see on test day, so the tools and the timer are familiar before it counts.

  • Questions you haven’t seen

Written by our SAT educators and test-prep specialists, different from the College Board’s practice tests, so a score reflects your skills and not your memory.

  • On your schedule

Start each section when you are ready. You don’t have to finish in one sitting, and your results stay available to review.

The test ends. Your next step starts.

A practice test is only as useful as what you learn from it. When you finish, you see exactly where your points went and what to work on before the next one.

  • Your score, at once. A projected score the moment you finish, and how you rank among other test-takers.
  • A Score Debrief. Every lost point sorted by why you missed it, and your highest-impact fixes ranked by the points they are worth.
  • Every answer explained. The correct answer and a step-by-step explanation for every question, with the time you spent on each.
  • A drill for each fix. Practice the skills you missed with one click, from the SAT question bank, then ask the coach anything about your results.

A plan for all ten tests

Ten full-length tests are enough to learn the format, fix what costs you points and rehearse test day. Here is the order we suggest.

A 40-question, 60-minute mock in the test’s format gives you a projected score and your first list of fixes, free.

  2. 2Tests 1–3

    Get used to the clock

Take the first full-length tests to learn the format and your pacing. Read each Score Debrief before you take the next test.

  3. 3Tests 4–7

    Work on your fixes

Between tests, drill the skills your last debrief ranked highest, then take the next test to see whether they held.

  4. 4Tests 8–10

    Dress-rehearse test day

Take the last tests in one sitting, at the time of day you will sit the SAT, with the final one about a week before your test date.

Practice test questions, answered

Are the SAT practice tests free?

The 40-question Free Digital SAT Mock is free with an account. The 10 full-length practice tests come with Pathiva Premium ($80 for 6 months, one payment), which also includes AI review of every completed test, the SAT question bank and 24/7 coaching.

How long is each practice test?

Each full-length test has 98 questions and takes 134 minutes: two Reading and Writing modules of 27 questions and 32 minutes, and two Math modules of 22 questions and 35 minutes, as on the Digital SAT. The free mock has 40 questions and takes 60 minutes.

Are these the same as the College Board’s practice tests?

No. Our questions are written by our own educators and test-prep specialists in the Digital SAT format, so they are new to you even if you have taken the College Board’s official practice tests.

Do I have to finish a practice test in one sitting?

No. Each module is timed like the real test, but you can start each section when you are ready and come back later. For your last tests before the SAT, we suggest one sitting, as on test day.

What do I get after a practice test?

A projected score the moment you finish, your rank among other test-takers, a Score Debrief that sorts every lost point by why you missed it, and the correct answer with a step-by-step explanation for every question.

In what order should I take the tests?

Start with the free mock for a baseline, take tests 1 to 3 to learn the pacing, drill your fixes between tests 4 and 7, and take tests 8 to 10 as dress rehearsals, the last about a week before your test date.
