Every SAT practice test on Pathiva now ends with a Score Debrief, right on your score report: where your points went, the fixes worth the most points, and a 7-day plan to your next test.

It replaces the AI Post-Exam Review from March 2026, and Pathiva starts writing it as soon as you submit. The screenshots below come from a sample report with made-up numbers.

The Debrief tab

Your score and verdict

The top of the report, pictured above, shows your score, the change since your last test, your section scores and a one-line summary. The trend chart adds where your top fixes could take you.

Your highest-impact fixes

Fix 1 in the sample: Nonlinear functions, worth about 60 points, with what went wrong, what to do, a 12-question drill and an Ask the coach button.

Up to three skills, ranked by the points they're worth. Each says what went wrong and what to do, with a one-click drill from the question bank.

Where your points went

A bar splitting 360 lost points into concept gaps, common traps, rushed, changed to wrong and left blank, with the questions and points in each.

Every missed question lands in one of five groups: concept gap, common trap, rushed, changed to wrong or left blank. College Board notes that for most students it's better to guess than leave a question blank.

Time per question

Four rows of bars, one per module, showing seconds per question against a dashed target line, with slow, rushed and missed questions marked.

A bar for every question against the target time: the module's time divided by its questions, about 71 seconds in Reading and Writing and 95 in Math on a full-length test. What is the Digital SAT? explains the modules.

Changed answers

Counts of changed answers: 3 wrong to right, 3 right to wrong, 2 wrong to wrong, and a list of the questions changed.

How the answers you changed turned out, and which questions they were.

Redo your misses

The Redo your misses list with filters by mistake type and three missed questions, each with a reason, your answer, the correct answer and Retry and Explain buttons.

Every miss with a one-line reason. Retry it with the explanation hidden until you answer, or ask the coach to explain it.

Your plan before the next test

A 7-day plan with a task, a short description and minutes for each day, the first two days ticked.

A day-by-day plan to your next test, with the time each step takes. Tick off days as you go. Still choosing a test date? Read November 7 or December 5 SAT?

Did last time's fixes work?

Three skills from the previous test with their before and after results: two fixed, one improving.

From your second debrief on, Pathiva checks the skills it flagged last time: fixed, improving or not yet.

Ask about this test

The coach box with three suggested questions about the test and a field to ask your own.

The coach knows your answers, your timing and your last five tests. Start from a suggested question or ask your own.

Counts, times and point estimates come from your answers. Point estimates come from re-scoring your test as if those questions were right. The AI writes the summary, the advice, the plan and the coach's suggested questions.

The Questions tab

Every question of the test as numbered squares in four module grids, coloured by result and mistake type, with filters above.

Every question on one map, coloured by result and by why you missed it. Filter by missed questions, mistake type or changed answers.

Question 6 of Math Module 2 opened: skill, mistake type, 4:10 spent against a 1:35 target, the answer choices, why it was missed and the explanation.

Open a question to see your answer, the correct one, your time against the target, why you missed it and the explanation.

The Skills tab

Reading and Writing skills grouped by domain, each with accuracy on this test and an arrow against the last five tests; Inferences is highlighted as fix 3 with a Drill button.

Your accuracy in each SAT skill on this test, with arrows comparing it with your last five tests. Your top fixes are highlighted, each with a drill.

Frequently asked questions

Which Pathiva plan includes Score Debrief?

The Premium Pass: 10 full-length practice tests, each with a Score Debrief. The free 40-question diagnostic ends with one too, and full access to drills, retries and the coach comes with Premium.

How accurate are the point estimates?

They show how your practice test score would change if those questions were right, rounded to the nearest 10. They help you choose what to fix first, not predict your official SAT score.

Can my school or tutor see my debrief?
